SeaTac Satellite Parking Help

  • Help, I’m a creature of habit. Always in the past we’ve parked either at Shuttle Park or its sister company AirStar, as we found the location most convenient for us with the internet coupons they usually had, their price was competitive and they had frequent shuttle service. Unfortunately, both lots closed April 30 as the site is being turned into the new SeaTac rental car facility.

    Our preferred route to the airport is south on I-405, continuing on and then exiting at the Highway 99 South exit. From personal experience can anyone recommend a satellite parking lot that is convenient to that route?

    Thanks for any help. Our Horizon flight isn't until May 20.


  • Everybody, thanks for your suggestions. I had totally forgotten about SP2 and that's the one we'll use. The AAA coupon was very welcomed.

  • I would recommend that due to the closure of Airstar/Shuttlepark, if you use Shuttlepark2 to also use their parking reservation service. Especially important over holiday and vacation travel periods, now. Reservations are $10 (minimum 48-hour stay) and it's a credit toward the lowest available parking rate which tends to be the coupon rate.

  • I'm a big fan of masterparking.com as they have great pick up service and often you don't need to call as they run so often. The valet parking is a great service. Airstar does offer a prepaid parking option of $5.99 per day. You need to book in advance I believe 14 days

    Airstar is temporarily out of business. The prepaid option no longer applies. They said they will let you park at Doug Fox but its at a rate around $11 per day.


  • I used to use MP but I now use shuttlepark2, just behind the old Lewis and Clark theatre site, Dollar has their rental ops there as well.

    great coupons on line, nice set up for free parking with a point accrual system, we use them all the time

  • I have been parking at Airstar for the past few years and had to make a change as well. For now, I've gone over to ShuttlePark2. It's over in the same neighborhood. They also have a Points Club, but it's a different program than the Airstar/Shuttlepark one.

    The ShuttlePark2 lot has wider parking stalls than the old Airstar/Shuttlepark lots. The closing of those two lots has taken a lot of inventory out of the local parking market.

  • We were big doug fox users until they went to their valet service (very disorganized). We are now using the MP garage option (11.95 a day w/coupon) and its been really good.

    They have a service for detailing as well, which was great.

    The great thing is that your car is there when you get to the garage, you can set up auto pay and its clean and close to the return to I-5.

    The changes at the airport mean we all need to be very patient.
