A couple questions about the SEA-MEX Red-eye.

Posted by mike on January 6th, 2009
  • Planning on taking this flight this summer in first class.

    1. Does "no meal" on the SEA-LAX 8PM flight really mean no food at all?

    2. What is a "snack" on the LAX-MEX red eye?

Any personal experience on this itinerary?

We could take the daytime flight ( more meals) but hate to miss a whole day in Mexico travelling there....

    1. No meal means no meal. Probably hot nuts with cocktail service.

  • At a guess, a fruit plate and scone in F prior to landing in MEX. You might also get a snack after takeoff. SEA-LAX probably mixed nuts.

  • As we had done last year:
    1. Take the earlier flight into LAX
    2. Get dinner at the Encounter restaurant and watch planes to your heart's content

Also, upgrades are easy on the MEX sector. Worth the $100.
