United Doesn't Offer Economy Plus to Star Golds

  • I had just read something about United not offering Economy Plus to Star Alliance patrons. I just booked with United and got back of the plane seats and asked about whether or not they offered Star Gold's Economy Plus and I was told that a few days ago they changed policy.

    What an unfortunate change of policy. I thought that this would be a big reason to stick with one Alliance.

    Does anyone know why they changed it and how we can make them aware of our unhappiness. Though it probably doesn't matter.
