AA: OAK-IAD/DCA for $136 9/07 thru Nov.

  • Tremendous Q-fare deal, as these flights normally run at least $200+ and often even higher into DCA. Plus, if you fly to IAD via DFW before 9/30, you qualify for the IAD bonus as well. ^ Extra bonus: No 757 slave ships on this route. :)

    I recommend using ORBITZ "flexible search" as I could only find limited selection at aa.com (and orbitz offered this fare on almost every possible flight combination.

    I am posting separately from the SMF link because I think this will be of greater interest to most.

    Also, DCA is far more convenient to downtown Washington if you don't want/need a car.

  • In all the samples I tried from WAS to OAK, midweek at that, the only options on Travelocity were AS metal, AA flight numbers. Any other experience at this hour? 0700 EDT.

    And still on Orbitz! That search for a weekend feature is handy indeed.

    Gone from Orbitz and Expedia. It shows the good price, but when you try to book it, it shows the fare increase.

    Bummer!!!

  • I'd recommend using the "Find low fares for weekends and flexible trips" feature on orbitz -- it produces much better data than travelocity.

    I can find it on Travelocity with no problem. As the OP posted, it is good from Sept 7 onwards.
